| | Writers WriteI am often asked, ’What is so special about Writers Write?’ It is a nuts and bolts approach to constructing a book. It is not about finding your ‘voice’ or hugging trees. You can do that at home for free.
I think that this course works because all a writer needs to join us is a desire to write and a love of books. Degrees and years of writing experience are of no consequence. In fact, writers who have little experience do remarkably well. These people are open to learn, and to enjoy writing.
A writer will find out if writing is something he or she wants to pursue as a career on this course. I try to reassure inexperienced writers that the people who attend are just as nervous as they are to begin. The delegates all have one thing in common. They want to write.
